Procurement of Collaborative Robotic Arms (Cobot)

Interested companies are invited to submit their biddings for collaborative robotic arms for Learning Future Factory Laboratory.

Robotic arms will be mainly used for learning collaborative manufacturing between the two robotic arms, between the robotic arms with other machines, and between the robotic arms and operators. The examples of applications are parts assembly, material handling, product picking and placement. It will share the tasks with humans, another robotic arm and an AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) to move and transport products between stations. Furthermore, They will be installed nearly other machines such as 3D printer to assist to do the machine’s jobs or load and unload materials and parts instead of a human. They will interface with PLC controller for remote access, sending and recoding data to a server for analysis and optimization purposes.

Installing Android TV sets for immersive classrooms at Thai partner universities

We have completed installing Android TV sets for our immersive classrooms at all Thai partner universities. These classrooms allow instructors to display learning materials on the three TVs in front of the room and to offer a live class close to face-to-face learning when equipped VDO camera. The instructors will be able to access the learning future laboratory at AIT and display the activities in the lab on these TVs.
It has taken us four months to transform our initial thought into reality and in time for our Thai partners to exploit this setup for offering their online learning, especially during this COVID-19 outbreak.
