ErasmusDays 2020 – Celebrating With Our Achievements

Let’s celebrate the 3 days of ErasmusDays 2020 with our Achievements #ErasmusDays

We are grateful to receive funding from the Erasmus Plus Program of the European Union. This funding has allowed us to be a small mechanism to contribute to support Thailand towards a sustainable smart industry. Since day one, several activities have been conducted under the MSIE 4.0 project that includes, but are not limited to, curriculum development, laboratory development, pilot testing of developing courses, industrial training, public seminars, and an international conference on education. Here they are flashbacks of some of our activities.

Hon. Abhisit Vejjajiva visit our Learning Future Factory Laboratory

MSIE 4.0 consortium has had the honor to welcome Hon. Abhisit Vejjajiva, a former Thai prime minister, to our Learning Future Factory Laboratory. His honorable paid a visit to the laboratory before giving his keynote presentation at the International Conference on Active Learning in Engineering Education (PAEE/ALE’ 2020). On this occasion, Dr. Pisut Koomsap, the MSIE 4.0 coordinator, introduced the project and gave a tour of the laboratory.

MSIE 4.0 Activities during the PAEE/ALE’ 2020 Conference

MSIE 4.0 Consortium co-hosted the International Conference on Active Learning in Engineering Education (PAEE/ALE’ 2020). The conference was held in a hybrid platform at AIT Conference Center and Pinehurst Golf Club & Hotel, Pathumthani, Thailand, 26th – 28th of August 2020.

It was the first time for the PAEE/ALE conference to be organized in a hybrid platform to facilitate both onsite and online participants around the world. There were four keynote presentations, thirteen oral presentation sessions of which two of them were for student papers. Besides, there was one local workshop and three hybrid workshops. Around a hundred participants participated in this conference. More than sixty academic articles were submitted to this conference.
