ErasmusDays 2020 – Celebrating With Our Achievements

✨🎉Let’s celebrate the 3 days of ErasmusDays 2020 with our Achievements🎉✨ #ErasmusDays

.

We are grateful to receive funding from the Erasmus Plus Program of the European Union. This funding has allowed us to be a small mechanism to contribute to support Thailand towards a sustainable smart industry. Since day one, several activities have been conducted under the MSIE 4.0 project that includes, but are not limited to, curriculum development, laboratory development, pilot testing of developing courses, industrial training, public seminars, and an international conference on education. Here they are flashbacks of some of our activities.

Outcome 2.4- Assessment of pilot test of the key courses and finalize the curriculum and the  courses

The Outcome 2.4 Assessment of pilot test of the key courses and finalize the curriculum and the  courses sums up the pilot testing of 10 selected courses from MSIE4.0 curriculum. The recommendations for MSIE4.0 curriculum eventual revision are formulated on feedback from students, teachers and partially, other stakeholders. The main instruments used for gathering feedback are surveys that included students and teachers. Questionnaires that were used for that purposes enabled gathering feedback on general course characteristics, course delivery, workshop and laboratory sessions and general perception of tested courses. Students survey has been launched in accordance to the schedule of pilot testing during autumn and spring semesters of 2019/2020 academic years. Altogether, 114 students from 9 Partner universities participated in the survey. Teachers survey has been made after disclosing the results of students survey.

Outcome 2.2 – Syllabuses for All Courses in the Curriculum

Outcome 2.2 – Syllabuses for All Courses in the Curriculum

The following document presents the key outcome, set of syllabuses in master studies in Industrial Engineering curriculum, of the project titled “Curriculum Development of Master’s Degree Program in Industrial Engineering for Thailand Sustainable Smart Industry – MSIE4.0” that has been funded with support from the European Commission with CBHE framework of ERASMUS+ program. The outcome is based on cooperation between 6 Thai and 3 EU universities that after identifying the gap between the currently running programs and the needs of industry and students have prepared a modernized studying program. The course design process adopts the logic of the backward course design concept, develops its own logic on introducing student-oriented learning and active learning principles, and covers Industry 4.0 technologies, management, and design approaches.

The curriculum includes 16 courses, among which there are three core courses, accepted by the consortium as the basics to introduce Industry 4.0 concept into the Industrial Engineering field of knowledge, one obligatory course covering transversal skills, and 12 electives covering important fields of IE programs. The integral part of the set of 16 course syllabuses is the Outcome 2.1. A modernized curriculum for a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering that presents the overview of the studying program, its learning outcomes, workload, and organizational structure. The integral part of this document is two annexes: Annex I. Syllabuses and Annex II. First Reviews of 16 Syllabuses.
